# Controlling how socials look on your profile

> Choose where social icons appear, enable hover animations, pick a hover style, and adjust icon size from the Socials display settings in your dashboard.

The **Display Settings** and **Style** panels in **Dashboard → Socials** let you control the placement, animation, and size of the social icons that appear on your biolink. Changes take effect after you click **Save Changes**.

## Placement options

### Place in individual card

When this toggle is off (the default), your social icons appear inside your main profile card. Turn it on to move the social icons into a separate card that sits below the profile card.

### Each Card

This option appears only when **Place in individual card** is enabled. Turn it on to give every social icon its own individual card rather than grouping them all into one shared card.

<Info>
  **Each Card** has no effect unless **Place in individual card** is also on. Enable the parent toggle first.
</Info>

## Hover effects

### Hover Effect toggle

The **Hover Effect** toggle turns the hover animation on or off for all social icons on your profile. It is on by default.

### Hover Style

When **Hover Effect** is enabled, two style options appear:

| Option              | Effect                                   |
| ------------------- | ---------------------------------------- |
| **Hover 1 — Fade** | The icon fades in opacity when hovered |
| **Hover 2 — Scale** | The icon scales up slightly when hovered |

Click the style you want to apply it immediately. The change is saved with your other settings when you click **Save Changes**.

## Socials icon size

The **Socials Icon Size** slider sets the display size of all social icons. Drag it anywhere between **50%** and **200%** of the default size. The current percentage is shown to the right of the slider label.

<Tip>
  If you have many social icons, a smaller size (around 70–80%) keeps the row compact and prevents wrapping on narrow screens.
