# Customizing colors and glow effects

> Set individual colors for every text element, border, and icon on your card, then add glow to selected elements with adjustable radius and opacity.

The **Color** tab in **Dashboard → Customize** gives you individual color pickers for every named element on your card. The **Profile** tab extends this with a glow system that adds a luminous halo to text, the card border, and social icons, plus card-level opacity and blur controls.

## Color pickers

Each picker in the **Color Customization** section controls one element. Click the color swatch to open your browser's color picker, choose a color, and it is applied immediately in the preview. Click **Reset** next to any swatch to remove the custom color and return that element to its default.

| Color field               | What it affects                                     |
| ------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------- |
| **Display Name**          | The large name text at the top of your card         |
| **Username**              | The `@username` line below your display name        |
| **Bio**                   | Your description / bio text                         |
| **Location / Occupation** | The location and occupation line                    |
| **Accent (Border)**       | The card border color                               |
| **Card Background**       | The fill color of the profile card                  |
| **Icon Overlay**          | A color tint layered over your avatar               |
| **Socials**               | The social icon tint; also used by the Socials glow |
| **View Count**            | The visitor count displayed on your card            |

## Glow settings

The **Glow Settings** section (in the **Profile** tab) lets you add a soft light effect to selected elements. Toggle each element on individually; active elements highlight in violet.

Elements that support glow:

* Display Name
* Username
* Bio
* Location / Occupation
* Border
* View Count
* Socials

### Border glow

When **Border** glow is enabled, two sliders appear:

| Control     | Range  | Description                                    |
| ----------- | ------ | ---------------------------------------------- |
| **Radius**  | 4–80px | Size of the glow spread around the card border |
| **Opacity** | 0–100% | Intensity of the glow                          |

The border glow color follows your **Accent (Border)** color if set, otherwise it defaults to white.

### Socials glow

When **Socials** glow is enabled, two sliders appear:

| Control     | Range  | Description                                     |
| ----------- | ------ | ----------------------------------------------- |
| **Radius**  | 2–40px | Size of the glow spread around each social icon |
| **Opacity** | 0–100% | Intensity of the glow                           |

<Tip>
  Socials glow uses your **Socials** color if you have one set in the Color tab; otherwise it falls back to white. Set the Socials color first if you want a tinted glow.

## Card opacity and blur

The **Card Opacity** section (in the **Profile** tab) controls how transparent and frosted the profile card appears against the background.

| Control                  | Range  | Description                                |
| ------------------------ | ------ | ------------------------------------------ |
| **Profile Card Opacity** | 0–100% | Transparency of the main profile card      |
| **Profile Card Blur**    | 0–40px | Frosted-glass blur applied behind the card |

## Audio player opacity and blur

The **Audio Player Opacity** section applies the same controls independently to the audio player card.

| Control          | Range  | Description                                             |
| ---------------- | ------ | ------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Card Opacity** | 0–100% | Transparency of the audio player card                   |
| **Card Blur**    | 0–40px | Frosted-glass blur applied behind the audio player card |

## Audio visualizer

The **Audio Visualizer** animates the border glow in sync with bass frequencies from your background audio. Enable it with the toggle in the **Audio Visualizer** section of the **Profile** tab. Border glow must also be enabled for the animation to be visible.
