# Frequently asked questions about Yasutsu

> Answers to common questions about creating your account, your profile URL, premium features, code redemption, uploading media, and widgets.

    Go to [yasu.lol/signup](https://yasu.lol/signup) and fill in your email, password, and username. Your account and public profile are created at the same time. Once signed up, you can log in at [yasu.lol/login](https://yasu.lol/login).

    Your public profile is available at `yasu.lol/[username]`, where `[username]` is the one you chose during signup. For example, if you signed up as `alex`, your link is `yasu.lol/alex`.

    Copy your profile URL: `yasu.lol/[username]` and share it anywhere: social media bios, messaging apps, email signatures, or anywhere else you want people to find you.

  <Accordion title="What is included in the free plan?">
    The free plan gives you access to core profile customization: setting your display name, bio, location, social links, profile photo, background color, card styling, and both the Discord and Roblox widgets.

  <Accordion title="What does Premium include?">
    Premium unlocks advanced visual features:

    * **Text effects**: Fuzzy, Magic sparkles, Morphing, Typewriter, Cherry Blossom, and Sparkles effects for your display name, username, and bio
    * **Animated backgrounds**: Floating Particles, Neural Noise, Cosmic Plasma Web, Stars Canvas, Starfield, Gradient Mesh, and Gradient Blur
    * **Cursor trails**: animated effects that follow the visitor's cursor on your profile
    * **Card tilt effect**: the profile card tilts toward the cursor on hover
    * **Profile buddy**: a small companion character that sits on your profile card
    * **Element reordering**: reorder the elements on your profile card (name, username, location, Discord, bio, socials)
    * **Gradient colors**: gradient text color options for your display name, username, bio, and location
    * **Badges**: premium badge displayed on your profile

  <Accordion title="How do I get Premium? How much does it cost?">
    Premium is a one-time lifetime purchase for **\$7.99**. You receive premium instantly after purchase. Visit your dashboard and go to **Premium** to purchase.

  <Accordion title="Can I change my username?">
    Your username is set during signup and becomes your permanent profile URL. Check the dashboard or the profile settings for any options related to display name changes: your username and public URL are established at account creation.

  <Accordion title="How does the view count work?">
    Every time someone visits your public profile page at `yasu.lol/[username]`, the visit is counted. Your **Total Views** stat on the dashboard home shows the cumulative total.

  <Accordion title="How do I connect Discord?">
    From your dashboard home, click **Connect Discord** in the Quick Actions panel. This links your Discord account so you can display the Discord widget on your profile. Once connected, the button changes to **Discord Connected** and you can manage the widget from the **Widgets** section.

  <Accordion title="How do I add a background video?">
    Background video is set through the **Customize** section of your dashboard under the media or background options. Refer to the [profile media](/profile/media) documentation for supported formats and steps.

  <Accordion title="Can I hide my username or view count?">
    Visibility controls for individual profile elements are available in the **Customize** section of your dashboard. Premium users can also reorder card elements. Check the [profile basics](/profile/basics) and [dashboard layout](/profile/layout) documentation for available display options.

  <Accordion title="What file formats are supported for uploads?">
